The Telstra Device Care app will help you to transfer your content from your old device to your new device completely wirelessly.
It will also assist you in keeping your device healthy by allowing you to run simple tests on your phone and automatically resolve issues that are identified.
Content Transfer: The Telstra Device Care app’s ‘Content Transfer and Back Up’ feature will allow you to transfer your content from your old smart-phone to your new smart-phone.
Simply install the Telstra Device Care app on both devices, connect them to the same WiFi network, and follow the prompts on the app to transfer your content quickly and securely.
Using this feature you can also back your content up to the cloud for safe-keeping. This feature currently supports Google Drive, with more cloud services coming soon.
Troubleshooting: The Telstra Device Care app’s ‘Self-Care’ feature will allow you to check your device for common issues and get automatic resolutions to any issues you might face. Examples of these issues include problems with your audio, battery draining too quickly, or not being able to make calls or access the internet.
Simply select the ‘Self-Care’ option from the home page and select the issue you would like to check for. If you would like to get a general health-check for your device, simply select ‘Check Everything’.
The app will run the relevant tests, and present you with a simple report and quick-fix buttons to help you resolve any issues identified.
